Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
Post Bail LLC is a small design, motion, and VFX studio in Jersey City, NJ. We make visual work for brands, agencies, and production companies. We don't sell ads, run email lists, or build apps. We make films and visuals. This page tells you what little information we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
If you fill out the contact form on our site, we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The message you typed
That's the only personal data we ask for. We don't require an account, we don't collect phone numbers, addresses, payment details, or any "special category" data (health, religion, etc.).
Why we collect it
So we can answer your message, scope a project, send you a quote, and deliver the work you commissioned. If you hire us, we'll also exchange project files, briefs, and invoices through email or the channels you and we agree on.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don't use your email for marketing or newsletters.
- We don't run third-party advertising or tracking pixels (no Meta, no Google Ads, no TikTok).
- We don't collect data from children under 13. This site and our services are for businesses and professionals.
Analytics
We use StatCounter for basic website analytics (page views, approximate region, browser type). StatCounter may set a cookie on your browser. We don't use analytics to build advertising profiles or share your browsing with advertisers.
Third-party services on our site
- Vimeo – hosts the showreel and portfolio videos. Vimeo may set its own cookies and log basic playback data. Their privacy policy is at vimeo.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts – delivers the Kanit typeface. Your browser sends a request to Google's servers to fetch the font file. Their policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
We don't control third-party cookies or data practices. Check the linked policies for details.
Who we might share information with
In the normal course of a project we may pass your contact details and project information to:
- Our client (the brand or agency commissioning the work).
- Vendors or subcontractors we use for a specific project (e.g., a sound designer, a colorist, a platform developer).
- Our accountant or bookkeeper for invoicing and tax purposes.
- Law enforcement or a court, if legally required.
We don't share your information with marketing platforms, data brokers, or for any purpose outside the project.
How long we keep it, and how it's stored
Contact-form messages and project files are kept in our email inbox and local/project files. We retain project-related correspondence for a reasonable period after a project concludes (generally a few years for tax and records purposes), then it gets archived or deleted.
We use password-protected systems and reasonable care in handling files. We're a small studio, not a Fortune 500 data centre – so "reasonable" is the honest word.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask us what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
If you live in the EU or UK, GDPR gives you those rights explicitly. If you live in California, the CCPA/CPRA does. If you live in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or Utah, your state's privacy law does. In all cases, the way to exercise them is the same:
Email bailmeout@postbail.tv. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
International transfers
If you're outside the US and you contact us, your email travels through US-based email infrastructure (Gmail/Outlook). If we use Vimeo or Google Fonts, your browser talks to their US-based servers. That's it – no other cross-border data flows.
Changes to this policy
If anything about how we handle information changes, we'll update this page and bump the date at the top. No email to 4,000 subscribers. You can check back here.
